At least that’s what I get from this picture in a CNN/Time link.
Now, I don’t doubt that dogs alleviate the anxiety common with PTSD. Dogs are awesome and almost always cheer me up. They love you for who you are, even if you’re boring and only walk them once a day, as long as you’re not a squirrel. But, perhaps the picture takes away from the message, even if it’s accurate to the story?
Instead of thinking about the content of the article, the lasting impression to me was that a naked man was on top of his dog. Which is unfair to the man, dog, and the article. I wonder how long and how vigorously articles are vetted at Time.
