Arizona politicians have a funny set of priorities. Wait, I mean a deadly set of priorities.
Arizona’s Medicaid program stopped funding lung transplants, liver transplants for hepatitis C patients, and some bone marrow and pancreas transplants, which will save the state around $4.5 million a year.
Except, voting for this bill is essentially voting to let people die, to save a couple million dollars a year. Medicaid patients are low income and these procedures are hundreds of thousands of dollars.
However, the same Arizona politicians voted for Arizona’s Immigration Bill in the same quarter, which empowers police to essentially hunt for illegals in their daily police activities, which is estimated to cost $14 million over 5 years, at a minimum.
The political priorities of Arizona politicians, of which Republicans dominate, are clear.
Hunting illegals > saving the lives of poor people
